Of course everyone knows the old adage “a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down…” most of the world would say this is a horrible idea & so unhealthy— but what if there were an alternative? 

A spoon full of honey every day may keep the doctor away?

While I am no doctor or claiming to have any sort of medical education, there is so much research backing the health benefits of honey! 

Many studies show there are improvements in health such as diabetes management, cancer management, better heart health! 

Raw honey has antioxidant properties, it has anti-fungal and anti bacterial properties, can heal wounds, boosts immunity, helps with digestion and gut health, helps with cold systems such as sore throat, and even some cognitive benefits (the polyphenols in honey may be able to counter inflammation in the hippocampus— the part of the brain used in memory). 

On top of all of this Raw Honey contains micronutrients such as: Calcium, Magnesium, manganese, niacin, pantothenic acid, potassium, riboflavin, and zinc.

With Raw Honey being a wonderful tasty source of all this and it helps with allergies, has amino acids, enzymes and other beneficial compounds. 

Who wouldn’t want to add a teaspoon of this to their daily routine!!!
